How about testing before selling! Dec 21, 2011

Fine looking buckle, however the design is flawed inasmuch that the latch pin is also made of pewter, a very soft metal, and broke off within days of using. I soldered a copper pin in to place the buckle back in service, but that should not have been necessary if it had been properly designed and tested. No, I would not buy it again.
