A Buckle to be Proud to Wear Sep 30, 2011

Pewter Belt Buckle - American Veteran and Proud of It Why I don't see many of our returning troops wear anything that indicates they were proud to serve, is lost to me. I am a Vietnam Veteran. We did not have an all volanteer service back then. I was Drafted. I didn't think twice about serving my country even though I did not support our reasons for being in this war. When I came home, I had sustained wounds, mental problems (a load noise would scare me, I had nightmares, and frequently had flash backs where I could see the blood and broken bodies of both sides). But I was proud to have served and displayed it by wearing an MIA pin, or a ball cap with something about being a veteran. I hope our All Volanteer Veterans will be proud of their service and show it in some small way. I WEAR THIS BUCKLE EVERY CHANCE I GET. IT IS WELL CRAFTED, AND TELLS PEOPLE THAT SEE IT EXACTLY HOW I FEEL.
